Polar Express Day
What a perfect way to end the week
before our Christmas break.
We all wore our pajamas.
The train whistle blew and it was time
to board the Polar Express.
Our conductor punched our tickets
and we were off to the North Pole.
We listened to the audio story, by Liam Neeson.
The children were captivated by the beautiful story.
At the end, each child was given a bell.
The children decorated sugar cookies and
visited the hot chocolate bar.
They also made a Christmas ornament.
Our photo booth was a blast.
The children selected their props and
decided if they were Naughty or Nice.
We decided everyone was Nice!
(But, we are all a little naughty sometimes!)
Then it was time for our annual Pinata.
(Thank you Teacher Gina!)
Several children said,
"This is the best day ever!"
I think I may have to agree.
It was a perfect way to spend our last day together
before Christmas Break.
I will see you guys next year!
